Our thirteen guest rooms are decorated with a little whimsy and provide all of the comforts expected in today’s lodging. It is true that we are over 200 years old, but we have spent the last ten years renovating and decorating to offer the best blends of historic charm and comfortable surroundings. Televisions and phones are not in our guest rooms but are available in our public areas, as is our guest computer. Our internet service is complimentary and we have cell phone enhanced service within the front lobby. Rooms are air conditioned in the summer months.
The Waybury is one of the few lodges in the area that accept pets (dogs only), as we recognize the important role that your four-legged friend plays within your family. We will provide a little amenity on arrival and have a special work out area for your pet so that we all have a good travel experience.
Our breakfast service, available between 7:30 am and 9:30 am every day, is included in your rate unless other arrangements are made. We offer an a la carte menu and freshly prepared breakfast foods for a most satisfying start to the day.
Lunch is served through the summer months and on request at any time of the year. We also have lunch boxes to take along if you are planning a hike, fishing or a scenic drive around Vermont.
Our Brunch is a popular time to be at the Inn and is served each Sunday between 11am and 2pm. Its popularity is primarily due to the seasonal variety and freshness of the expansive buffet, but an ala carte menu is also available for additional breakfast, brunch, and lunch options.
Dinner service offers two menus, our fine dining menu and our more casual Pub menu. Our hours of service are between 5pm and 9pm with our Pub opening at 4pm for hors d’oeuvres and drinks. However, at any time of the day that you arrive our host/hostess will be happy to supply you with food and drink!
The Inn caters events, both at the Inn and throughout Addison County. If you are interested in catered service now or in the future, please visit our Weddings and Events page and then give us a call so that we may discuss the specific ways that we can cater to the needs of your special group. At all of our events, from company lunches to winter weddings, we provide high degree of personalized service.
A variety of meeting spaces are also available at the Inn. We excel at meeting service for groups of 25 or fewer throughout the year and are please to work with your group to design the space, meals, breaks and any other activities that will make a meeting productive and memorable.

The Waybury Inn has only thirteen rooms and cancellations affect us dramatically. Therefore, we request that you notify us at least two weeks in advance of your intended visit. With a two-week notice of your cancellation, we will be able to return your advance payment, minus a $25.00 booking fee. If notice is given within two weeks of your visit to the Inn, your advance deposit will be forfeited. The Inn will make every effort to rebook the room, and if we are successful, all but the bookkeeping fee of $25.00 will be returned to you. Our cancellation policy is subject to change for college event weekends – specific weekend cancellation policies will be on your confirmation letter.
We regret to inform you that our guest rooms are not wheelchair accessible. However, all public spaces, including our dining rooms, are fully accessible.
